Continuing with this week long series featuring Ontario Place, here we see a family enjoying their ride on the Wilderness Adventure Ride, an animated flume (an open artificial water channel, in the form of a gravity chute) that takes you through scenic forests and canyons of ‘Northern Ontario’.

  7. I used to love rides like this when my kids were growing up, but not anymore. I am just tooooo old. Your photos really does make it inviting, though. Cool and nice. genie

  8. NIce tour of Ontario Place and it sounds like it is or was a great family attraction. It will be interesting to see what they do with it while it is closed down and I’m sure you’ll post pictures next season for contrast. It was too bad about the forum (it seems like to me) — sometimes change isn’t for the best.
