I bet the students at this high school in Hamilton are glad of the newer, thermal, windows in their old building. You don’t see names chiselled into buildings any more and I rather like the permanence of the memorial name.

Starting January 4, 2011, a new meme for SIGNS will begin. Read about it at signs, signs, and seek out interesting signage to share with our fellow enthusiasts. (This meme could also fit in well with water, windows, and skies…)

  1. aloha, thanks for the comments, i love the details on this building…i was just thinking about doing details shots also of my local surroundings and this is giving me just the right start.

  2. I agree – it’s nice to see the permanence of their name on the building, especially nowadays. Your windows are a little happier looking than mine 🙂

  3. The school looks so solid, too, like it could stand there for another hundred years without batting an eye.

Best wishes for a happy, healthy and peaceful new year.
