Tucked away in an alley of the Roseland Plaza is the most expensive restaurant you could eat at in Burlington. However, I have it on good authority that the Blacktree Restaurant has possibly the best culinary experience you will have. It doesn’t look like much from this photo, but apparently it comes alive from Wednesday to Sunday nights when the restaurant is open and serving its ever changing menu. The black and white theme even carries over to the silent movies played on a blank wall outside the restaurant (behind that black partition). I have dropped hints that this would be a good spot to celebrate a milestone birthday. I hope he is saving his loonies. Then we can ask why a resto named ‘black tree’ has, as its logo, a white tree.
