The windows of the recently built Central Library (2005) let in lots of light. If you pass by at night, you can clearly see through the strip of plain glass on the south facing wall into the library shelves of the second floor.

  1. That is a cool library! As a lover of books and a lover of architecture, I’m not sure which I’d enjoy more 🙂

  2. A library for the 21st century. Good find.

  3. I like this library – it is massive yet not feeling so much – the horizontal motif that surrounds the window allows it to appear much longer than tall – a nice trick for the eyes. The teal color is soft and lovely – a beautiful building full of fact and prose…

  4. My favorite kind of indoor place to hang out!
