Couchiching means inlet in Ojibwe which aptly describes Lake Couchiching for it is a small lake (about 16km long and 5km wide) that is separated from Lake Simcoe by a narrow channel. A great spot for fishing, this park is popular for many in Orillia. This is an archival photo from last fall, but there are still people enjoying the pavillion.
