I am not certain of the use for this little green fence I found in a front yard in Gananoque.

Wow, lots of lovely texture in this shot!
decoration? is it a steam grate? like you see in the big city? (:
I couldn’t see anything behind it when I crept up to have closer look.
I do wonder what it is for, or was it part of something bigger…love it whatever it is.
Neat photo… I love Ontario will be on the Trent River this summer I hope
Awesome shot…lots of texture!
By the look of the stairs, I’m thinking there’s construction going on there — maybe the fence is just temporarily there. It all sure makes a nice picture.
a lil old, but looks strong built & will probably be there quite some time! =)
This is an awesome photograph! Your composition is great, and I love all the textures and designs. Wow!
That’s very cool, Lesley! It looks like it has been there for quite a long time.
Not sure what the fence is for but it’s an awesome photo.
Thanks for visiting me.
Great design in your photo, Leslie! Have a great weekend!

It looks like the reminants of a grander fence at one time, doesn’t it? I love your style of photography–traveling around your city looking for the unexpected in its architecture. Each photo a treasure.
maybe it’s a left-over gate of some kind – thanks for linking in my sign post.
Beautiful photo.
Regards and best wishes
Interesting superposition of the different colours and textures, Lesley.
