A wavy fence inside the Downsview subway station in Toronto separates the passengers who have already paid from the ones who still have to make their way to the turnstiles. This is the long walk between the subway platforms and the bus bays.

  1. Really like the lines and curves in this.
Was it really late or really early when you took this with no patrons. 🙂
Great shot and a unique fence!

  2. Excellent! So sharp and focused.

  3. Excellent photo. Are you sure you are in the subway? It looks more like a prison 😉

  4. great shot. love the lines. (:

  5. Love the angle of this shot. Great lightning too!

  6. What a unique fence. It does look interesting the way it curves.

  7. I’m not sure I would have thought of this as a fence, but I’m sure glad that you did! It’s a great photo.

  8. Excellent photo.

    Regards and best wishes

  9. How much more friendly and pleasing to the eye for these utilitarian fences to “wave” instead of stretching out in a straight row. And probably more encouraging–wavy lines don’t look quite so long. 🙂

  10. That looks great! I have never been up there!

  11. This could be a bit prison-like, but the wave and the blue tiles on the other side, reduce that fear a lot. Nice feel to this shot, Lesley.
