Wiarton Willie is everywhere in this town south of Owen Sound near Georgian Bay.  In spite of the brief snowfall we had on Sunday, it is feeling quite spring-like in these parts. We may be seeing more of these flowers before we know it!

  1. Cute … just in case you were forgetting which town you were in 🙂

  2. Love the ambience of hanging flowers in a streetscape! And these flowers + scrolling ironwork create an enchantment round the signs! Beautiful!

  3. Love little Willie on the bracket!

  4. what a cute little face!

  5. Lovely flowers. It is spring like all winter long as well.

  6. The flowers look indeed like spring. The sign is nice.

  7. Well, we can always HOPE. can’t we? :))

  8. Oh, how pretty. No hanging baskets downtown here now. They will return in the spring. This one is beautiful. Nice find. genie

  9. How cute is that? Just adorable!

  10. Wharton Willie is a what? Seems like a chipmunk to me, but I know nothing of them. Are they petunias in the hanging basket? I love petunias. I have some lilac and white ones to plant out tomorrow, should the current rain ease.

  11. I love Willie in the Wiarton sign. Today is Willie’s day. To be or not to be.

  12. I love it when towns decorate like that….
