With the grey shingles and green-grey trim, this fence blends in perfectly. I like the little two step it has and then the rapid rise as it reaches up to the height of the gate.

  1. Love this house!
I sense it was built new to look old.
The patina of the shingles is gorgeous. It has all weathered beautifully together.

  2. this is such a charming picture…just love it overall!

  3. wow, a great house & love the fence. pretty!! (:

  4. The design of the fence is indeed quaint and I like it a lot too! The grey theme of house and fence is very nice!

  5. very nice fence, it blends in so nicely with the house it was hard to see the change in heights

  6. That’s a charming fence, I love how it’s stepped to the gate! And I love that upstairs bay window (which I recently learned is actually an oriel window, since a bay window goes all the way to the ground. But you probably already knew that!) 🙂 It’s impressive how well they were able to match their windows and roof, as well as their fence, to the shingle siding! Very handsome place.

  7. Pretty little house, and I love the fence – no two slats are the same height!! Someone went to a lot of work on that!

  8. Charming and oh, seems like a vacation, no?

  9. I adore this house and its fence. Would love to be living in one like it. So homey and appealing to me. It is just a precious gray home. Love it. genie

  10. A really nice color study and an unusual gate design. Haven’t you posted a similar one before but with a different house? You find so many different architectural styles. With this house, those high windows have me curious about what rooms are behind them.

  11. Simply charming….everything is so neat n tidy!

  12. I like this…not just the fence but the whole scene.
