The diamond patterned bricks of Grandview School in Cambridge. This small (very small) and outdated school is being replaced with a modern, more accommodating one (with more rooms and better a/c and heating). But I suspect this interestingly patterned brickwork will not be seen again.
Participating in Thursday Things in a Row.
Out with the old and in with the new, huh? Bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better, as far as architecture goes, anyway. I’ve never scene brickwork like this. Interesting!
My goodness…what a terrific capture. This would be something that I’d normally just walk on by and not even notice. You have a great eye for design.
Thanks for stopping by to visit.
My post today is: Friday’s Fragments
Great abstract picture. Nice and unique brickwork.
