The diamond patterned bricks of Grandview School in Cambridge. This small (very small) and outdated school is being replaced with a modern, more accommodating one (with more rooms and better a/c and heating). But I suspect this interestingly patterned brickwork will not be seen again.

Participating in Thursday Things in a Row.

  1. Out with the old and in with the new, huh? Bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better, as far as architecture goes, anyway. I’ve never scene brickwork like this. Interesting!

  2. My goodness…what a terrific capture. This would be something that I’d normally just walk on by and not even notice. You have a great eye for design.

Thanks for stopping by to visit.

My post today is: Friday’s Fragments

  3. Great abstract picture. Nice and unique brickwork.
