Although this building is no longer a dairy, this lovely cow with her two milk bottles and owner’s name remain to remind everyone who walks past on that she once ruled King Street.

It’s such fun to find an old sign that’s still in good condition.
That sign will be there until the building is demolished. The milk bottles shown were made of glass and were common when there used to be home deliveries of milk.
That’s an awesome sign people won’t forget.

What a grand piece of your local history…and it remains in beautiful condition. I can remember when the dairy brought our milk in bottles to our door…seems like a long, long time ago. The more I look at your photos, the more I wish I could visit the area. It must be a heavenly place to live. genie

What a wonderful piece of history – I’m so glad it remains – even though the dairy is long gone.
I wonder if this guy may have been a part of my family! My mother was a Campbell! Some went to Canada and others to NSW and Tasmania in Australia! An interesting sign that stirred up a few questions for me!
