At the harbour in Owen Sound. This was taken in March when there was still ice on the water.

  1. The icy water looks esp. cold in b&W. A very busy waterway in spite of the weather (which is hard for me to get my head around).

  2. This is a very good shot. I like the strong composition and simplicity, and that the ship is the focal point of the picture.

  3. This gives a real impression of massive strength.

  4. Yep, it sure does look chilly in that photo. 🙂

  5. Great shot, such power in it!

  6. Awesome!
    Happy weekend.

  7. How awesome!
    Happy weekend.

  8. Well done, Lesley! The low angle gives the ship an imposing presence and your post-processing with the lighting in the centre is perfect. This is an image that could sell in stock sites….

  9. Looking at the bow of this ship, it looks HUGE…but then it is HUGE! What is the tall structure to the right? In out neck of the woods I would say it is a sill, but that would not be appropriate right here at a large port. Love the shot…a fine capture.

  10. Oh! A wonderful photo.
