A strange light was cast on the Burlington Central Library moments brfore a storm blew through in the early morning. The library is situated at Central Park and was given a complete overhaul and expansion in 2005.

I think this light is very beautiful, Lesley!
Very strange sky; I guess you’ve all had a lot of wind in your area. The light is just peeking through that lovely hole in the clouds.
You guys are so lucky: having a library expanding, while they are closing ours over here.
Marvelous capture, Lesley! Love those moody, grumpy gray clouds — kind of reflects my mood these days! We’re having the same kind of weather/skies!! Beautiful library! Happy SWF! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I like it when the skies get all dramatic, as if Mother Nature was throwing a hissy fit… as long as she doesn’t get really viscous like she just did in the southern States! Nice looking library… but I can’t remember the last time I used one.
I do like the light too. The day feels cold to me.
actually, it was unusually warm!
Grumphy cloud cover!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
the swirling clouds with the dramatic light makes for a splendid sky photo!
Wow that’s a huge library and yes the sky looks very dramatic to me.

this was around 6:45AM. the storm hit at 7:00AM.
Great architecture!
looks like a lovely evening for a walk.
Any picture with a library in it must be a good photo!
