Looking down Mulcaster Street, through the arch towards Kempenfeldt Bay in Barrie on a rainy day. Perhaps not so scenic, and perhaps more shades of grey than black and white, but still, quite a nice view.

  2. A very unusual arch, quite unexpected. It does provide a nice frame.

  3. Great capture! Like it!

  4. I do like the arch and the photo. I bet on a nice summer day, with blue skies and green trees, this would be a stunning view.

  5. What a strange thing that arch is but it works!

  6. Very beautiful B/W photo!!!!

  7. A most unusual arch, and a perfect frame for the view.

  8. Wow! What a unique way to mark an area or neighborhood. I expect it can be seen for quite some distance.

Lesley, I do so appreciate all your visits to my sites.

  9. […] Mulcaster Street outside of Barrie’s City Hall, a view through the memorial arch. It has the shape of a mansard roof outline reminisent of the original Market Building that dated from the 1870′s. A not so snowy, but still wintery view can be seen here. […]
