These rather plain windows are made more eyecatching by the decorative lintel and the red brick surrounding the limestone. Am not sure about the plastic on the windows. Found on a sidestreet in Southampton.

  1. Fantastic stone work around those windows! I would guess that old wood windows were replace by more modern (and less drafty) windows.

  2. Beautiful stone lintel, I wonder what the original windows were like, the white plastic replacements don’t really fit in with the design.
