The Woodchuck Gallery has a been a feature of Gananoque’s main street since 1986 and offers hand picked unique gifts. They are, unfortunately, closed Sunday’s (or more to the point, they unfortunately can’t spell that they are closed Sundays).
Participating in My World Tuesday
wow, i’ve never seen a sign like this around my world.
enjoy the new work week.
Have you been following the travels of the guys who wrote “The Great Typo Hunt”? They spent months and months traveling around the USA correcting errors like this one with Wite-Out and Sharpie markers. If I had more energy, I’d like to do the same thing in Canada.
Love the Woodchuck sign.

I read about them a few weeks ago – what a fun journey that must have been!
I wouldn’t have picked that! π enjoy you week.
Good observation, cute woodchuck sign. π
Apart from the grammatical mistake, it’s a great shot!
Is it closed, so the premises is used for worship, or is the owner going for worship? LOL
…and yet another way of looking at it!
Awkward phrasing, but I get the point. Sunday, is closed . . .
very stunning door. It seems quiet and calm. Great post
Pretty building, misplaced apostrophe, weird phrasing, but great photograph!
(If I took and posted a picture of every sign I see with that apostrophe problem, I’d have a post a day for the rest of eternity!). Just to let you know that the problem isn’t just in Ontario ;>)
Have you seen those guys from “The Great Typo Hunt” that Kay mentions above? So many sign posters don’t seem to care.
I wonder if English is the store owner’s second language. I LOVE the mail slot at the bottom of the door.
I was so intent on getting the little woodchuck icon and the sign that I didn’t even notice the mail slot until after I’d uploaded, but isn’t it wonderful?!
