Under blue skies one can clearly read that the street signs in Hanover have all changed from named streets (and roads) to numbered streets (and avenues). It might still be confusing for some so the old names are still listed on the signs. If anyone reading  knows why this was done, I’d be interested in hearing the story.

  1. Seems kind of silly to me, to get rid of the names, when people tend to remember words better than numbers. Or is that just me?

  2. OH, how confusing! Think pf all the trouble this must cause!

  3. I like the POV, confusing though, I wouldn’t know which to follow and would prefer to look at the beautiful blue sky. 🙂

  4. I hate when that happens. They did that many years ago in my home town in BC, and a lot of us still refer to the old names.
    Good photo, however.
