It was dusk when I drove past this 1860s heritage log cabin just outside Port Elgin. It is still surrounded by farmland and has easy access to the highway. I didn’t notice the broken windows when I passed by it during the daylight hours, but with the setting sun reflected in the windows, I see it is uninhabited. With cute little curtains.

  1. Interesting house! It looks like it has a more modern storm door to go with the older white door.

  2. I love old cabins, old barns… — this one has so much character. Great picture.

  3. I dream of a little place like this
    I love your photo

  4. What a sweet little cabin, it just needs someone to love it.
