Last weekend was the annual Highland Games in Fergus. The town welcomes all Scots and others who wish they were Scottish. Wearing of tartan is optional, but would not look out of place.

I happen to be listening to scottish fiddle music as I visit blogs for the evening. What I especially like in your photograph are all the overflowing hanging baskets. We have something similar in some of our suburban streets. They transform the place!!
