  1. Outstanding grill!

  2. Interesting iron work on that door!

  3. Wonderful grill work. Reminds me of my grandparents’ house in Texas. Great shot!

  4. That looks like St. Francis. Never seen him on a grill, just as a garden statue or painting.

  5. Lovely and welcoming!

  6. Hi – I was here earlier Lesley and could not figure out how to comment. When you commented at my blog I came back for a visit. This time I looked more closely and found it. Sorry but the configuration totally snuck passed me.

In any event, I wanted to say that I really like this screen door. It is so unusual. I’ve never seen its like. Thanks for sharing it here.

    • Thanks for trying again!
I know, some blog designs do make commenting a challenge.

I was quite taken with this door, I tried to find the era it may have been built, but with no luck.

  7. Beautiful and peaceful – which is all St Francis stands for!

  8. great iron work and good colours in the picture!

  9. […] There aren’t many fancily decorated screen doors left but these people obviously recognize something unique in this one and have kept it even though the rest of the house has been renovated and updated. Another example from the same neighbourhood can be seen here. […]
