This fine example of Italianate Villa architecture was once the home of Canada’s first Prime Minister, Sir John A Macdonald.  Sitting on a secluded rise in Kingston with a grand view of Lake Ontario, it was thought to be a perfect location for his ailing wife Isabella.

  3. I love these old houses. I enjoy seeing the outside and when possible I like to tour the inside.
