The Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, a downtown Brantford entertainment destination since 1919, is a home to community performing arts organizations, school and charitable events plus offering a season of  professional entertainment. The building was bought by the City of Brantford in 1986 and extensively refurbished.

  1. every community needs a place like this—good to know the city has maintained this center.

  2. j’adore cette enseigne, cela fait penser aux vieux cinemas des années 1960.

  3. Good for Brantford for recognizing they have a treasure and spending the bucks to keep it going.

  4. Great photo – and you’re so right about the comfort factor in older venues. We have a lovely art deco theater where I live that would make a mall cineplex hide itself in shame.
