Nothing fancy or pretentious, Morrison’s family restaurant has been a favourite greasy spoon in downtown Kingston since the 1920s.  Not much has changed over the years, included the prices, which are quite reasonable, and their original sign.

  1. I like local hangouts when I travel.

    • It is like taking part in a local tradition. And the interaction between the patrons and the staff is much more relaxed and casual than in a tourist aimed restaurant.

  2. This is one of those over-the-top neons from the 40s etc whch seem to be ouit of favour at the momnent. We used to have a wonderful neon for a golf shop down near the station but it bit the dust last year. Glad you still have this one!

  3. Did you go to Windsor Ontario? I was there in mid 70s studying in the university.

  4. Good to have places like this.
