In this day and age of overly cautious safety measures, it was refreshing to see these very wide sash windows at the Legislature Building in Queen’s Park. The breeze blowing through these screenless windows was most welcome, as well.

  1. Oh, I like this a lot! The black and white really makes it all the more dramatic, I think I can actually feel the breeze :)

  2. Beautiful tones, and I love the radiator details.

  3. The facade is a classic brick (granite?), the wood work around the huge window solid and beautiful. I really enjoy the period radiator – the cast iron design feels almost art-deco. A fabulous shot that is perfect in sepia!

  4. This is a marvelous photo…and I love the detail on the radiator and the window hardware as well as those windows and stonework across the way.

  5. My eye was immediately drawn to the far windows and their fancy frames. Great photo!

  6. That’s beautiful because it really lets the breeze come through. You also captured a lot of interesting textures. Thanks for stopping by at my windows!

  7. Reminders of a time before pollution, humidity and heat changed our was of life.
