Next door to the fence from last week, we have this less ostentatious, but still gold tipped, design. Here you get some idea of the length of the driveway to these properties. You will also notice there is no fence between the properties, only between the road and the front yard.
Participating in Friday Fences

wow, some one has money. i guess if i had money as well … one thing i would have …. would be a beautiful fence such as this. love it!! very different. (:
I kinda’ like this fence…. or at least I don’t hate it. Sometimes those iron fences look like prison bars (I always wonder whether they’re keeping people out or keeping themselves in). They obviously don’t mind their neighbors running over to borrow a cup of sugar ;>)!
Fascinating! Only an entrance….a quite elaborate one, at that….but no connecting fence.
Wow what a lavish entrance!!! woudl love to see some of the homes back that long road!
This one is lovely!
Seems funny it have a fence only in the front of the yard.
This must be a beautiful neighborhood.
It’s there to keep the riffraff out, Lesley. The neighbours aren’t riffraff.

Good point!
Beautiful, love it!
Have a great weekend.

What a fancy fence!!! Beautiful.
I like your photo. I never really understood the ‘grand entrance’ concept, perhaps I’m just a simple (minded) person. I think one could accomplish the same thing with much less grandeur.
Beautiful photo.
