Hope your Wednesday has treated you well and you can find time to visit with me…

That’s a pretty lighthouse, I like the color – It looks like the boaters will be bicycling too
wow, simply awesome…a place i would love to visit over and over again…
I worder what it would be like to live in a lighthouse.
The government is selling these lighthouses? How very interesting. Do you have any idea what people are doing with them when / if they buy them?
Lovely ocean misty picture.
In this case the lighthouse is still active (my mistake – it is ‘surplus’ meaning it could be replaced with something cheaper to maintain) so it looks suspiciously like the government is trying to download the maintenance onto the city or a community group.
Anyone interested in owning a surplus lighthouse would first have to apply to Parks Canada for a heritage designation and then prove an ability to maintain the structure to Fisheries and Oceans.
Lovely spot by the water! Quite a job to wash the windows though, f you are the one maintaining the light house.
Live in a lighthouse … a dream ! Here, houses near sea arre too expensive … and a lighthouse is often, near sea !
Your lighthouse are so different from our !
I like the ambience of this picture. Is ti a channel ?
This is on Lake Ontario, near the Welland canal. It sits on a pier in the marina.
